Arlington Road Widening and Improvement Project

The Summit County Engineer's Office obtained multiple federal grants for the improvement of Arlington Road from the City of Green to Bruce Road. The proposed project includes resurfacing, adding a northbound turn lane at Warner Road, installing sidewalks, new signals, and pedestrian crossings and push buttons. The sidewalk will be added along the east side of the roadway from Chenoweth Road to Killian. Federal funds will pay for $1.8 million of the $2.3 million project. Construction began on July 11, 2016 and the estimated completion date is November 30, 2017.
