Alan Brubaker, P.E., P.S., Sworn in for Another Term as Summit County Engineer

The Summit County Engineer’s Office is proud to announce that Alan Brubaker, P.E., P.S., was sworn in for another term as Summit County Engineer on Friday, December 27, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. The ceremony was held at the Engineer’s Office in the presence of County Engineer Brubaker’s wife, Patty, members of his family, and staff.

"Alan’s dedication to Summit County and its residents is truly inspiring," said Patty Brubaker. "I’m proud of the good work Alan and his team do to keep Summit County roads and highways safe for our motorists."

Since 2009, Mr. Brubaker has faithfully served the residents of Summit County. His re-election reflects the community’s trust in his leadership, expertise, and unwavering commitment to improving the county’s infrastructure. Under his guidance, the office has effectively managed the design, construction, inspection, and upkeep of county highways, bridges, and ditches, while also overseeing traffic safety, snow removal, engineering services, permitting, water management, transportation planning, funding coordination, and providing surveying and GIS support.

"I am honored to continue serving the people of Summit County for another term," said Alan Brubaker. "Together, with my amazing team, I look forward to building on all of our office’s past accomplishments."

This swearing-in ceremony marks a significant milestone for Mr. Brubaker and his team of 100 employees. Their collective dedication and collaboration remain key to achieving the office’s mission of serving Summit County with excellence.
