Boston Mills Road Closure
Road closes May 24, 2021

Summit County Engineer Alan Brubaker, PE, PS would like to alert residents and motorists of the upcoming closure of Boston Mills Road between Riverview Road and Black Road for approximately 120 days starting May 24, 2021. The closure is due to a road improvement project.
The project consists of upgrading approximately 3,100 feet of Boston Mills Road starting at 1,200 feet west of Riverview Road and extending to the west. The project will include milling the existing pavement, widening the paved shoulder, replacing the existing storm sewer, installing curb, making pavement repairs as needed, applying leveling and surface courses of asphalt, and applying new pavement markings. Karvo Companies out of Stow, Ohio is the contractor on the $922,000.00 project. This project is partially funded by Federal Lands Access Program grant funds.
The detour route will be posted. The detour route will involve Riverview Road, Columbia Road, and Black Road. All work is subject to inclement weather.
