NOW OPEN: Brandywine Road Bridge over Brandywine Creek Closure
Bridge to be closed for 150 days

Northfield Center Township, OH – Summit County Engineer Alan Brubaker, PE, PS would like to alert residents and motorists of the upcoming 150-day closure of the Brandywine Road Bridge over Brandywine Creek starting April 25, 2022. The bridge is located just north of the I-271 overpass. The closure is due to a bridge rehabilitation project. J.D. Williamson is the contractor on the $1 million dollar rehabilitation project.
The detour route will be posted. The detour route will involve Twinsburg Road, Olde Eight Road, and Highland Road. The Brandywine Falls parking lot will be closed due to the Cuyahoga Valley National Park project. Access to the Inn at Brandywine Falls will be available from the north throughout the duration of the closure. All work is subject to inclement weather.
