South Main Street Bridge is Now Open

Summit County Engineer Alan Brubaker, PE, PS would like to alert residents and motorists of the opening of the South Main Street Bridge over the Nimisila Reservoir. The bridge was closed as an emergency on July 6, 2023 to ensure the safety of motorists.
Kenmore Construction was the contractor on the $645,000 project. SCE employees and Kenmore Construction worked hard to expedite work on the bridge and were able to open the bridge much earlier than anticipated.
Thank you to all who worked so hard to get this important bridge back open in a timely fashion.
